Another meet? Suggestions?

so cooped up in my hotel room waiting for time to goto dinner, i get bored and start looking for roads... google maps doesn't work too smoothe on this laptop, so I start finding other ways to find roads, and found a couple roads that may not be too far out for us vegas people, and curious if anyone ever ran them-
gold butte road-

looks like a bit of a run to get to it, as it departs from overton... but that isnt much farther than nelson, I don't think
and heres a scenic route to get to overton-

looks like it goes thru valley of fire, then north shore road
i totally forgot about north shore/south shore roads....
a good way to goto overton for gold butte road maybe-

from henderson, taking north shore to the valley of fire turn off...
maybe some ideas since the weather's finally coming to its senses...
a bit more driving than doing the redrock loop (but the maps look like a lot more twisties, and possibly neater scenery)
