Sure did. On teh p5's where the map lights and sunroof controls are on the very front of the head liner. Right behind it is a bend. I am going to do some mild fiberglassing. It should come out quite nicely. I will keep you guys updated on it.

Well, it's been six weeks and no ******* HU yet! Today it finally crapped out altogether. It just locks in the "load cd" position. I tried resetting...nuthin. I'm so pissed! I'm calling MNAO tomorrow.

Update...
Well, eight weeks now and nothing!!! I called MNAO today and they said they would call the parts manager here, and put a "hot-track" on the HU, whatever the **** THAT is. Meanwhile, I've paid for 2 months of sirius for nothing. PLUS, I'll have to call sirius once the new hu gets put in so they can hook me up to it. Damnit!!

mine died today as well. reseting never worked. Disconnected battery to make sure everything was reset...still nothing. It flips sometimes, doesn't others. Nothing on screen but red lines.

this is the same problem that my original one had the day the car arrived at the dealer.

So, dealer is getting me another. thank god for warranty. I just wonder when the kenwood isn't covered anymore? I've got the extended warranty, but is that covered...hmmmmm.

in the day time, it's looks blank. But at night, you'll see the faint red lines.

Update... My new (rather, refurbished) HU arrived today! It gets installed Monday morning. It only took 10 weeks. I can't wait to get my sirius back!

I got the stupid flip down no screen stuff too! I took it to the stealership and they just ordered a new one. I hope it gets here soon!

mine was replaced last week with what looks to be a refurbished unit...and guess what

this one's a POS too! there is a terrible rattle coming from inside the headunit and it can't play a CD...it just keeps skipping and shaking my CD so violently that it actually scratched my CD. so i gotta go back and have them order another new/refurbished headunit

Oh yeah, you're ******. It seems these units have about a 1 1/2 year use life before the ribbon cable fails.

i saw a link to a fix for the ribbon cable, but the link was broken. does anybody have a working link?

i'm going to try to get it replaced at the dealer, otherwise, it's time for a Pioneer AVIC-N1
