Another Engine ?

So I've been doing some research via search and from what i understand i can put a 2003 protege 5 engine in my mp3(please correct me if im wrong) what i could not find out what other parts would i need to complete this swap?

All of the Protege 2.0 engines are basically the same. The MP3 had a different intake manifold from the rest, but internally it is the same as the rest. Just like with an MSP it's motor is the same with the exception of a port for the oil return line on the upper oil pan thing.

cool so if i cant find the whole motor i could still use the short block....i was also wondering if it matters that the motor came out of an automatic or 5 speed ... ive read that it does matter and that it doesnt matter just need one final opinion
