no no you wouldnt be a burden. I have learned that i cant make plans with out the wife knowing ya know she hates it when i make them and at the last min tell her, she freaks out. lol thats what I get huh?

I know exactly what you mean about letting your wife know, and the consequences of bringing up last-minute things.

I don't know if I can go for sure (driving, that is). There's a chic that I work with, and she's driving her Mazda3 down this weekend, too. It'd be cool to take on her in the twisties right outside of fairbanks, see what the 3's got. Then I could come back in a Mazda pseudo-caravan with AlaskaP5 (drive) (drive).
But again, I'm not for sure. I'll let you guys know....

Bad news guys........
yesterday, at lunch I decided I'd go to a body shop and inquire about painting my DGM lip. So I get quotes, and head back to work. At the gate, I'm asked for my license, and guess what??? Don't have it!!!!!!!! Left it at home. So I show my insurance.........old card!!! DAMMIT can it get any worse????!!!!!! YES IT CAN!!!! He runs a check on my name to get the status on my license, and it's REVOKED. I had a situation earlier in the year where I was gonna swap over to a AK license, but they told me I couldn't. I called TX to find out why, and they said I have an unpaid ticket from 2000. So I fax receipts to prove it. TX told me I'd be ok after that, and my license gets re-instated. Apparently not!!! so now I can't drive until the situation is cleared up.

Edit: I've already proven that I had insurance, so they took back that ticket.

That sucks a fatty dude, do you know when you can get your license re-instated? I guess the good news is that you were not caught speeding and DUI with a revoked license and expired insurence card.
