Angel Eyes wiring.

Does anyone know how to wire the angel eyes. I read the other thread of the installtion, it helped a lot except for the wiring part; i didnt understand squat.

Can anyone help me out please. Explain it to me in simple talk, no electrical geebrish! hehe.

I did it for a friend. The wires from the angel eyes connect to the output of the ballast (with the connectors). The input wires of the ballast (the bare wires) connect to a 12V source. We were lazy and connected them to the cigarette lighter. So whenever your key is in the accessories position (ie when your radio turns on) or engine running, the angle eyes will be on.

Could we also wire the angel eyes through the fog lights that way we can turn them on and off.

I did the same but used the Remote\IGN wire from the radio since I knew where it was and didnt have to poke around, plus I didnt touch factory wiring so just in case something happened I could completely reverse it without having a tap or splice in the factory stuff...(paranoid..yes.) Works the same, turns on and off with my headunit now.

You could wire them up to the fogs, just gotta tap into the fog wire. Only issue would be if you spliced them low, you will need to splice\tap and shrink wrap it so that water doesnt get in the connection.

Yeah im not worried about my fogs those have been gone for a while. So it definitely wouldnt hurt anything if i do it that way???

You can also tap off of one of the spots in the engine compartment fuse box. there isn't actually a fuse in that spot, so really you're just using what's already there. It's hot with the ignition, so it'll turn off with the car.

BTW, I have 1 set (all 4) of angel eyes just like the ones I put on my car. Just one, so if anyone is interested let me know. I'm selling them for 120.
