I updated my firmware to major v74 in order to install the android auto retrofit module. I ordered the module and I am thinking on buying the SD Card maps for the built-in navigation. The reason for that, is because if I run out of internet data or I am struggling with internet connection, to have a backup solution for navigation. Now, I did some search and I found that the official maps will cost a fortune and there are some custom SD Cards that have the maps (20-30$ in Amazon). Maybe the maps won't get updated (because Mazda allows updates only on their SD Card maps) but at least if I want a backup navigation, to have the SD Card. And I wanted to ask. Does the retrofit for Android auto is compatible with SD Card maps? Did anybody test it?
