The other day driving home there was torretial down poor. There was so much rain that the street I was on flooded to about 12 inches. I moved forward slowly but some oncoming vehicles pushed big waves against the front of mine. A bit later I realized my phone had lost connection with android auto. I reached dry road and after about tweny minutes the connection came back. I assume something got wet then dried out with engine heat. So what was it that got wet and where is it?

No idea if this is even possible. Maybe it was just a weird glitch or coincidence? Did the infotainment system reboot, or did it just drop the bluetooth connection?

You could pop the hood and check to see what parts got wet. Should be easy to see as there would be dried water spots or water trails visible. If you want, you could take some pictures and we could try to help you identify those areas. Generally though, modern vehicles/engines can get pretty wet without causing any electrical issues.

Thanks. Could be a coincidence as you suggest. No no reboot, just dropped bluetooth for a while.
