LoL...i would assume there would be coolent and oil everywhere after you blew it...well I guess only if you shot a rod through the block.

o it didnt blow in the conventional way it was kinda lame how it happened.

I was driving down the highway all the sudden the car lost all power, the motor mount bracket on the pass side, broke off and basically cracked the block.

It was in an accident last november on the pass side front end. It was found that the accident was the cause of the damage.

Cool, good luck. I'm in the middle of swapping my block right now, check out my thread when you get a chance. It is not too bad if you have a good place to do it, the right tools and some help that has the skills & knowledge. Are you planning to do this yourself? If so, you will need some good help. Not really a one man job if you know what I mean, although it is possible I guess. Just take your time, follow the shop manual and do everything right. Your gonna need a good torque wrench and a lot of other tools not everyone would have at their house, so be ready to buy the right tools when the time comes. It is pretty much impossible to know that you will have everything needed until it comes time to use it.
