an idea I just had about blinkers(any Xcops can u help?)

I was watching v8 super cars today and I noticed this falcon with a interesting looking turn signal, it appered to be a red bulb behind an amber lense its sounds kinda ugly but what ever it was it looks pretty cool imo. Is this legal? if i decided to do this would I get pulled over? has any body here tried this before?

my friend did that to his P5 on his front bumper lenses......as long as its a red L.E.D. bulb it will shine past the amber lense at night not in daylight....I thought he got clear lenses the first time I saw it, but then he told me it was just the bulb.

However, having red lighted anything on the front of your car is illegal...

If i'm not too outta line i run clear everything as far as blinkers go and i have no problem i don't see why u would have a problem with red behind amber. Whats it look like?

Typically what laws want are anything from clear (white) to amber on the front and amber to red in the rear for turn signals...It doesn't necesarilly matter if it is clear, just so long as the color is right. I would think that a red bulb behind an amber lense will look some shade of red and not very amber.

LOL...I took out my amber marker lights in the front & replaced them with blue. Passed many cops & haven't pulled me over yet

I'm not as lucky!

I guess I wasn't as lucky, I had blue in mine for about a month and I got stuck behind a cop going about 35 in a 45 and stayed right behind him. Then I tried to take a quick right but he just made a right and pulled me over and ticked me for it. So the next week I went back to show them I replaced my light s and the ticket was ripped up. Blue bulbs back in. I didn't learn.
