The P5 is slow when you compare to most newer cars on the market (including SUV's, minivans, trucks, etc...). It's fun to drive, though, and that's what matters to me for a daily driver. I plan on buying a new Nissan GTR as soon as I graduate from law school. That will be my fast car.

Fast is a relative term btw. I do not agree with people being stupid on the roads, because I don't trust their driving. Three nights ago I drove 80mph between two cars that were doing 45. The two cars were in their lanes right next to each other and I went between them over the white line. I had 2 friends in the car. We had less than 2 inches between me and the cars I was passing. I have no way to prove it, I dont care to prove it and I dont care if I do it again. The reason for this story is that move I pulled trumps anything in the fast and furious or any other kinda vision of racer-ness, and if I was driving any other car that is wider than the p5 (alot of cars) I would not have been able to pull that move off. So yea, you can make your friends s*** themselves in the p5.

Hypocrisy at its finest? not cool dude, not cool at all. To me at least, you have disgraced the Protege5 being such a tool. I don't care HOW good you think you are at driving (you've probably never tracked your car so you have little idea how to handle it at the limit and such), what about the two cars you squeezed between? Do you think they were expecting it at ALL? There is no way to predict how they would react to such a situation.

If I saw someone pull that s*** I would be on the phone with the highway patrol ASAP to get your ass pulled over and arrested for reckless driving.

Truckers and other people on the roads DO report these things. I've been a victim of it a few times. They didn't need my license plate, all it takes is a cop in the area and identifying the vehicle.

Or if they use it under illegal conditions they are going to be safe and only use it going in a straight line in the middle of no where with no other cars around. When if you consider that if there are no cars on a quiet street, children are likely to be playing football and with ironic probability end up in your path.
