ha yea man i want a rematch!! lol and i havnt got my slim fans just yet. i was just asking about them and the wiring. i got a fmic! looking for an exhasut next!

hey em1kid in the first pic im pointing at the short pipe before the MAf that is cut off the pipe after the MAF and as i recall u have the 2" pipeing all the way to the MAF and 2.5" after right? if so that short pipe will not work for u as it did me so im wondering if your gonna have trouble getting the short pipe or do u have that figured out? in the second pic top right of pic is where the cold pipe comes off the core. in the last pic is where the cold side goes up into the engine bay

Looks a clean install

The pipe that connects to the MAF is 2.5" that he has, then the elbow that goes down into the engine bay is a 2.5" to 2", then the rest of the piping on that side is 2". The pipe that he needs to cut for the MAF relocation is 2.5" and should give him that extra piece to add between the MAF and the elbow. Not sure if that was the short pipe you mentioned, but just wanted to make sure. :)

I just installed mine. took six hours, but i did it. Its easier to mount the intercooler first, put the bumper back and then run the piping. had to cut the bracket to the driver side fog light and trim the fog light hole.

Since I will be installing this kit in a couple of months, what did you guys use to cut the holes in the metal on the front so that the piping would fit? A sawzall or?

sawzall is wut i used but they have the bits that go on the end of electric screwdrivers and there big and round with a bunch of teeth on them to get perfectly round holes in things! but a sawzall works its not as pretty as the bit but f it cause ur not going to the the hole neways

I used a grinder with a thin metal cutting blade. I think the blade was 1/4". I tired a sawzall, but it took to long and burnt my blade. I put tape where i wanted to cut also.

grinder all the way...i cut everything with mine like butter and i ended up cutting a lot of my bumper support

X2, how did you manage to fit the coldside pipe by the driver fog light? im still having troubles and my bumper still doesnt fit correctly.

i had to cut up the bumper a little on both side i had the same problem. i cut where the lip covers the actual bumper so everything is good on the outside of the bumper...that whole corner that sticks out to mount ur lip i cut. i just left enough for the bolts on the lip. it was a b**** and took a lot of trial and error
