ok so heres the scoop, I joined regular army a few weeks ago and have to report on oct.2. But there were some gives and takes.
the gives:
-I couldn't choose my duty station
-I couldn't keep my MOS (job for you civilians)
the takes:
-I kept my rank
-I got to choose from a list of available jobs
and the outcome is that I enlisted as a SSG into the regular army as a 25D (telecommunications maintainer) for 4 years and a cool thing is that my job requires a top secret clearance.
I'll be off to ft. gordon for AIT(job school) 'again' on oct.2 till the end of the year then off to god knowS where?.?.
