All New 2026 Mazda6e Driving Review

Autogefühl has just released their driving review video of the 2026 Mazda6e for Europe!

To summarize, seems interior design and quality are nice (although the jury on build quality is still out). Driving dynamics are ok, better around town than on the highway. Performance is adequate but not as performant as some of the competition. Driving position and rear floor height may present issues for tall people. Main complaint is that for now, it doesn't really drive like a Mazda.

Great honest review. It doesn't really surprise me much, and it's pretty much as what I had guessed to begin with: typical Chinese EV with its typical Chinese car shortcomings. They look great and are built pretty good, but always coming up short on something compared to a real Japanese non-EV car with Japanese engineering/build quality

So, at the end of the day, if this was available in the US, I'd have to choose between good price with good styling and fit and finish, or better performance/driving dynamics of a Tesla at the expense of build quality and arguably styling. Personally, I don't like these choices, so it looks like I'm sticking to (more practical, to me) non-EVs for quite a while longer lol

The review is pretty honest but I'm not feeling this one with just Mazda skin but otherwise not a Mazda vehicle.
Would skip this model for sure.
