Is it strange that I disagree with most of those comparisons above? I'd prefer to have a previous-gen Forester because you could get a stick with the turbo, but I think the new one looks better, and I think the sales say most people agree with me. I always wanted a Forester in spite of their looks. The 5-series and Eclipse I totally agree with, but I think the new 6 is an upgrade.
I also think the rear end of the new 5 is an improvement, the front end I could go either way on. It's just those contour lines on the doors that are a problem.
