One of the features I absolutely hate in modern radios is the auto-volume control that raises and lowers a radio's volume according to speed. I have it set to "OFF" for my Aux input while listening to my iPod. It doesn't work. The volume level still adjusts. Is there any way to turn this damn thing off?????

i have mine off and it doesn't adjust though i do notice on burned cd's the quality of the original can make a difference from song to song... listening to an ipod where you are constantly roaming through your collection could be your issue??? mine is an 04 so i am not saying yours doesn't still adjust i am just trying to help you trouble shoot it.

Same thing here on my 07 Mazda3 with Bose system. Dealer is confused as to how to reset it (braindead

Isn't this just one of the settings on the radio, like Bass, Fade, etc ????

It is, but even when you set it to "0" for the Aux input, it still lowers/raises the volume automatically.
