I have a 3s sedan and I usually don't keep things in the cabin, so I was just wondering if I would need a car alarm. Would there be any way for a thief to get around the engine immobilizer to steal my car? Thanks

Loose said:...the most effective adjunct device you could use is "The Club". Highly visible and difficult to remove (unless your a pro then you are through it in 20 seconds). Do yourself one favor, video document your wheels including any "aftermarket add-on's." This will help your insurance company cut you a check for the amount you deserve when your car is stolen.
Although the 120 Db horn under the dash is a great idea, but as you pointed out, if they want your car they are going to take it.
