guys, really sorry i couldn't make it. a friend of mine go into a car wreck that day and was sent to the hospital, so i spent my afternoon down there. luckily he didn't get seriously injured although he wasn't wearing his seatbelt and shattered the windshield with his head. i did drive down to birmingham on sunday, not exactly sure why, but i went over to the macaroni grill because i thought someone might have came by that day or that maybe id see some other proteges, but i did see two navy blue p5s running around.
Glad to hear your friend is ok(2thumbs) And don't worry about not making it, we ended up hanging out with the damn Summit Bicycle Cop Patrol
Wouldn't you know we made plans though on the same night as prom for some schools. Got to see a lot of limos and I saw 3 prowlers parked and hanging out......Rent-a-cops didn't make them move, I'm sure. See you next time(2thumbs)

See you next time(2thumbs)there is no way i will miss the next meet. i drove all the way from panama city to fort payne which is north of gasden when i heard about the wreck. i though about the meet as i sat in the waiting room. he shattered the windshield with his head. there was a big round indention about 3 inches deep from where his head smacked the windshield. thats why you wear seatbelts!
You guys got any room for a chick with a 6? I just found this forum, but I've been on www.mazda6club.com for a while. I really would like to get a meet in bham with some p5, MSP, mp3s, rx-8 and 6's!

zmbyn6, I'll be organizing another S.E. Mazda Meet in the next few weeks/months. You should keep an eye on the S.E. section for more info. What part of town are you in? I'm in Alabaster area...closer to montevallo. I've got a P5, RX7 and RX8.
I actually live in a new subdivision that is technically in montevallo, but just barely. Ammersee Lakes. It is just past hwy 22 going south towards montevallo. I own a 6s. Matty P, do you work on your cars? I really would like to hook up with some guys who could help me do a couple of mods. PM me or post back here.

I *think* you live like 2 minutes away from matty. Could be wrong, but that name sounds familiar.Matty is an ASE certified mechanic and everyone around here who hangs out has a little wrench time on cars, so I'd say it's definatly a safe bet that someone can help you out. What are you installing?

I used to live in Maylene actually. In the subdivision across from Creekview Elementary. Anyway, I have a tranny filter and trans cooler to install and some ground wires also. I would also like to have a place to do my own oil changes. Other stuff too, when I get some money. I teach so anytime after 3:30 and the weekends are good.
