A Anon Y Mous Banned Jan 8, 2007 #2 it wont get much louder at all. Your best bet is to just get an intake and be done with it.
R Rican219 Member : MazdaSpeed 6 Jan 8, 2007 #3 Crap is it worth even doing at all? No gain? I know when I get the CAI I have to do it anyway.

N Nutari Member Contributor : 2010 Mazdaspeed3 Jan 8, 2007 #8 I tried driving around with the airbox open. Sounds 500% better. You can hear the turbo spool and the recirc valve. Sounds almost like a BOV.

R Rican219 Member : MazdaSpeed 6 Jan 8, 2007 #10 I think it silences sound so you don't hear anything like the turbo
