I'm having some electrical problems with CX-9. First the airbag light is blinking all the time except when somebody on the passenger seat. If you drive by yourself - airbags are off, if you have somebody on a passenger seat they work. I had these issues on my previous cars and all I had to do is clean the connectors under the seat, put some electrical conduct lubricant. So I removed the passenger seat and cleaned all connections, didn't help. Is there a way to read the airbag code without reader and dealership, I can read it on Lexus by pining ports on obd2 and it will blink the two digits for me.
Another problem is the key. It's blinking as well. When you start the car it seems to be fine, but when you open the door while the car with running engine and the key inside, it stars beeping and will beep while driving. I've replaced the battery, didn't help. And my lovely wife lost the second key
. How can I diagnose the problem? I've read that there is a sensor under rear bumper for the key and they die first. Can somebody tell me the part number or what I need to take a part to find it? (deadhorse
