Air to Water MSP Inside

huh? you have to cool the water off, you have to have a heat exchanger. this has no bearing on the charge piping which is where the benefits come from

I lknow..I know....No charge piping to route..I just find it funny all of the trade offs we do for these cars.
I wanted a A2W for a while..but man are they expensive to get set up.

you can come in el cheapo now with the ebay stuff but i didnt trust it. they have kits now for like 600.00 but i dunno about the quality.

Im glad i did it though. everyone whose driven it so far was pretty impressed. unfortuneatly, and u know this, modding is all about tradeoffs :(

Heres some pics of the pump and old heat exchanger if anyone wants to see how i did it.

first pic is the setup, the heat exchanger is disconnected cause i sprung a leak.

second pic, is of said leak

third pic is the new hotness. its an actuall radiator so it will work wonders.

Oh hell yeah. The new water chiller is sweet! +1 for some black stealthiness.

That leak baffles me. The only thing I have seen like it was my split AC line back a couple years ago... other than that, I haven't seen the likes. Can't wait to see the new setup up and running for ya.

I've said it before, but I love this setup. So unique and badass. Can't say enough good things about it.

thanks, but the leaks my fault.

i dont drive it everyday now so i forgot to put coolant in the system rather than water, and the one day i HAD to drive it to work cause the bugs battery died, it was 29 degrees out (week before was in the 60's). so water expands when it freezes. thats just where it chose to make its exit lol

Yeah I know it froze, haha... it was late, and I was tired when I wrote that. What I meant was, the way it split and the looks of it baffles me. Strange to see such a clean slice.

Is that damaged core made of Copper by chance....If so...I can fix it for you....and not soldering.

Try to find some Info On it...Like a web page.
Actually..Just scratch it....on the elbow and send me a pic of it.
Use a scratch awl or edge of a FLAT SCREWDRIVER TO SCRACTCH IT.....Damn caps lock....
If its copper..you should be able to tell.
It might be aluminum though.
Check it out..I'lll fix it for you for free if you want me to..If its copper.
