Aggressive fitment anyone?!

is that with stock struts and springs? i am probably just getting s-tech springs on illuminas. got to dump some money into the drift machine...

having fitted wheels on a car with springs is just wrong, your going to destroy your tires and its going to look funky IMO
your car though, do what you do.

^and you have any pics of the 17x9 +25? i was looking at some 17x9.5 +44 but that in no way clears the strut..i may have to do some suspension changes

no, i didn't event think of it, just cause i dont have the coils yet..but i should be able to get some pics over break if my friend lets me use his wheels again to test fit over break. Finals are this and next week and no time.
im sure it'll be alot diff fitment once i have coils though. when they went on they cleared the strut for me, however im not slammed so i didnt have as much camber as you probably would since your slammed on those coils ??

me? not sure yet...i was looking at a few things, but before i announce it im gonna do some more research lol

bolt on spacers. you could easily get another full inch of clearance on the strut. as for fitting the wheel under your fender... that's another story. hehe...

sleeve springs though right? those have way higher spring rates then normal springs lol

my rears are,
my front is still on some lowering springs

and yeah, needless to say, i ate up my tires pretty bad, but i was poking pretty awkwardly

oh btw
idk much about the rears yet, but if you were to run a 9.5" +44 in the front, youll need around a 30mm spacer!
idk know what changes you could do to the suspension, but i once considered using a hammer to beat the strut down a little... maybe even a grinder =)

anyone have pics of a fitted setup on srpings?

does this count?

a protege5 with 17x9s that have <+42 offset lowered on stech springs?

lol damn, thats as specific as you can get haha

i was actually thinking more along the lines of cutting and re-welding where the strut bolts to the actual car...
making an adapter so it'll still bolt to the hub, but making the actual location of the strut mount different,
30mm in isnt that much so it wouldnt be hard, keeping everything exactly the same on both sides is going to be tough

that'll work in the rear, but i havent thought of anything for the front yet

with a 9", I believe it would HAVE to be lower than 42. My math is rough, and I assume someone here can correct, but to clear the struts, I think you'd need at LEAST a +35, if not lower just to clear.

its over an inch. I wouldn't call that "not much"

So exactly what I said. Lol. You could do the same in the front and you will lose strut efficiency. Id recommend just gutting the stock ones an starting fresh
