Aggressive fitment anyone?!

They had another set listed at 17x7.5/8 +37 but they were sold, so I looked at these. They would be temporary on my car (more for the galant) and would be run reverse staggered. Anyone except for Drew (SwirlFX) running close to a 8.5 +37 in the front of a protege?

Chris, i did have a 15mm spacer on the front of mine which comes out to about 1/2. The wheel is a 17x8 +37, does that help?

$100/wheel for full refinish, and they are going to sell me these for the same price as the narrower set ($950 cash + $400 to refinish = $1350)

So you were at 17x8 +22 effective?

So the 8.5 +37 would push the face out 26mm (just over an inch) compared to my current volks, and have 1/2" less clearance inside.

Going to do a test fit with both sizes on one side of the car next week.

Damn those would be nuts. The main reason I am looking at these is they are dual lug so I can run them on the galant (4x114.3). Your racing harts are 17x8/7.5 right? LMK if you want to sell them to upgrade lol

Hrm front is too narrow for the galant. I think I am going to stick with Volk's if they fit. Looks like they should be perfect on the galant, and poking on the protege haha

hey guys i have a question i have an MSP and im trying to buy some new rims, iwas wondering whats the widest rim size i can get for the back with stock struts and springs, and with a 205 or 215/45/17 tire! can i run 17x8 all around with 205/45/17? and whats the lowest offset for that set up? i might get tein s tech springs and will i rub? i dont mind fender rolling! thanks

doesnt get much better then this

front are at 0 camber and rears are at -2.5 which is perfect!

and without the side skirts really shows the stance

Theres more to the equation than just wheel and tire size. but yes, u can fit 17x8 with 205/45. i run 17x8 w/ 225/45 & 215/45.

Offset is more important then the size.

Do your homework, read up on common sizes, offsets, tire sizes, fender rolling, and alll that good stuff so you know what you're actually up against instead of being lazy and just asking if one size will fit because its more complex than that.
