Aggressive fitment anyone?!

Nope, no rubbing at all at +45. I just wanted to see how the car looked with spacers. I'm on coilovers btw, not struts. Sorry for the confusion. My goal with the enkei wheels was to flush them out a bit without having to stretch my tires. I want a good balance of style and performance.

I see, I'd like to use 235x45x17 rather than shooting for flush look so got me worried there by using 10mm spacer but I see why you did so.

I'm considering ENKEI RP03 or RPF1( not sure on these if it can handle the pot-holes around tri-state are aound NJ, they're very bad).

btw, how much did your wheels weight ?

Think I may need more camber in the rear if I want to go lower (Maxed at -2.3 with BC coils). I don't have any reliable shops in the area to slot my struts for me. Anyone see an issue with using camber bolts in the bottom strut holes that are not slotted?

You can do it your self in under 20 min. Heres what i did:

1. On the strut/hub, Take off the top bolt. Loosen the bottom one

2. Insert the bit in the top hole, then attach it to the drill.

3. Put one lug nut on and slide a pipe onto the lug nut.

4. Start the drill and pull up on the pipe. Be sure to put some PB or some cutting lube on the bit

215 /45 on17x9 = to beefy... :(

SAND 17x8 +35 (10mm spacer)215/45 n 17x 9 +30 isnt that going to have same poke!?

It would be easy to slot the upper holes a little just using a dremel depending on how much more camber you need. If you grind about .040" to slot the hole that will give you about another degree.

+1 slotting isnt too bad, i just removed the top hub bolt, loosend the bottom enough to swivel the hub, used a marker to trace the top hole inward and went at it with a dremel. took a while with the dremel though, got three degrees on both sides in about 3 hours haha.

you guys know you can gain camber by rotating the strut's upper mount, right?

I know that is possible with the stock front strut mounts, but I don't think it is with the BC's in the rear? I am too concerned about slotting the holes myself, I don't want to do it wrong. $30 for camber bolts and 30 mins to install them seems like the easiest solution.

^^ definitly. i have eibachs all the way around. even with the horrible roads up here and the rediculus amount of huge potholes mine are still perfectly in spec.

torque them down to the spec it says on them( it was 50 something compared to 90) and they should be good for a while.

most of the time will be getting the car up and the wheels off.

you can only gain camber by rotating the strut mount in the front. the back would need adj links or slots...or of course camber bolts, but those only do +-1.75 degrees or something very small like that...cant remember, had a set but sold them.
Slots are the way to go, my coilovers have slots and I can seriously do 5 degrees negative camber easy on all 4 wheels

If I add the -1.75 to my current -2.3 from the stock BC slots, I'll be at -4 already LOL. No need to go past that for me.

^well yea...true. I was thinking you didnt have slots at all. That would work perfect for your particular set up.

no, the poke would not be the same.
go use a wheel offset calculator if you want to figure out poke and inner clearance. the 17x9 +30 pokes 18mm more

Idk, why not right. Should I have used a bigger spacer in you're opinion?
I've had the spacers sitting around for a while now, so I said screw it and put them on. I really like how the stance is now. Going to lower it a little bit more friday.

DO you have extended studs?

do u have any problems with rubbing the spring??

yea, i rubbed on the perch when i had barely 2 degrees with my 17's.....but i had big tires, 205/45
so thats why i want to keep the wheel size to 16's so i can have the most room between the coil and the wheel/tire

I see alot of people running aggressive wheel fitment. I wanted to know if anyone has tried to fit 245/40/17 on their protege. I wanted to run the that tire size with a set of 17x8 +40 wheels. Any thoughts? I know I will need some major fender rolling.
