I am not familiar with the specs/performance of the CS radiator so I can't really compare.

We are working with a very well known performance radiator manufacturer with very high quality standards yet an affordable price point. The radaitor will also be tested in our race car for ultimate cooling capabilities.

Hope this helps??(rockon)

Any idea what the core size will be, specifically thickness?

I will know more as soon as we get the prototype for trial fitment. I am eagerly awaiting its arrival but not sure when it will be.

Amazing that even though most of the US is in a deep freeze this is the busy time for most companies R&D departments?? I am told we are on the schedule...just don't have a completion date for the prototype...

Ok. I'm kind of limited (without modifications to the rad support etc.) to the thickness of the core due to my setup. As it is now, my turbo already comes very close to the stock rad core leaving maybe less then a 1/2" clearance. Yes, I have over heating issues with the stock rad but have managed to work with it for the time being using two 12" slim fans and a mostly water based coolant mixture.

Hey, I am in contact with "AWR COMPANY" and I have spoke with the owner about a group buy. I am wondering if we put a list of 40 people together maybe we could get the "FULL PERFORMANCE RADIATOR" for a price below $360 which would be perfect. I will be speaking to them more about it tomorrow. I might be able to get the price down to $345ish.

A) unless I'm misreading, you're threadjacking badly.

B) 40 people? not gonna happen.

Radiator

Sorry didn't mean anything by it. I was just saying that this may be an option if the origional thread starter does not come through.

hmmm, I guess this would be try and error type of deal to see who would perform better ?

each one would either keep you cool enough, or wouldn't.... my bet is: either would. you'd have to exceed the capabilities of one and under the same condition not exceed the capabilities of the other, which would be impossible to reproduce. if he's looking at testing this on a full out track car, it should be MORE than capable on the street, and suitable for tracking a street car occasionally.

yup, your right on that.

What radiator are you guys using now since from the pic's it resembles CS rad ?

Fin rub from aftermarket fans caused a leak I think. rather than repair, I think a new one is in order, with a better fan setup.
