does the grill suits the hatchback? or it is no good as "Loose" says, "the old grill is stuck on the front end." i am considering joining the group buy if there involves no cutting between the front end and the grill.
Erebuni offers grills for BOTH the sedan and the hatch. No cutting! The trouble is that the one that fits the sedan doesn't fit the hatch (i.e. it's either one or the other, at least for the ones that directly replace the stock grill.)
To clear up the confusion, here's a list of the grills you can get WITHOUT buying any extra parts (you might wanna check their site in case I'm wrong)
For the Sedan: grill #942gr
For the Hatch: grill #541gr
-material: fiberglass
-price for each: $136.00 (plus $40.00 shipping)
-all grills come unpainted, but finished (go to a shop to get them painted)
I got an email back from Jerry @ Erebuni today & here's what he had to say:
We don't usually do group buys, however if you can place an order for
$1300.00 worth of merchandise then you would get a 20% discount. For
any further info and communication please contact Jerry at
718/387-0800 ext 205 and not by e-mail.
I called him earlier & he told me the rest. To fulfill the "group buy", we'll need
to get at least 10 PEOPLE interested in buying the grill with which we'll get a 20% discount. The money will need to be transferred into a single account to them. Here's the bad news: Jerry said the grills will take 2 months to make, although some may be shipped out sooner than that (they don't have them all just lying around...too bad). Jerry should be able to answer any questions you might have-seems like a nice guy; his # & ext. are above. All we need now is 10 people. So, who's in?!?
these are the grills we have to choose from: the gray pic is for the sedan, the blue one's for the hatch
