Aftermarket Fog Lights

Hello,

My 2012 CX-9 has the standard (non-HID) headlights and no fog lights... I'm kind of looking to improve the lighting output of the vehicle. To put the Mazda factory fog lights on the car is an absolute fortune! Has anyone put aftermarket fog lights on the CX-9? If so, can you please post pictures and details?

OP if you want to improve light output, fog light is not the way. Also do not put an HID kit in a non HID projector. The best way is to retrofit a projector meant for HID in your housing. Look at the http://www.theretrofitsource.com and http://www.hidplanet.com/forums/forum.php? for more information. When you put those hid kit it might look like you improved your light output but what you really did was decrease it and made it unsafe for other drivers with the glare they produce.

cx9's with halogens still have projectors, no? i thought they were the same headlight assembly.

not all projectors are the same, projectors are designed for the type of bulb as well. If you put a PnP hid kit on a projector housing that was meant for halogen bulbs it's going to produce glare for oncoming traffic.
