mazda Cx-5
sorry fairly new to this car. Had a mazdaspeed3 forever.

Loving the Cx5 but would like to see if there are any new exhaust option for this car.

thx

Good grief, either you've been on the road 24/7 or Mazda exhausts are rubbish. How come you already need to replace your exhaust system?

not everything is a need, he could just want a louder exhaust

Hey SirJoJo Corksport should be bringing there cx5 exhaust out sometime in january. There is all kinds of overseas manufacturers who make exhaust for the cx5 nice stuff but very costly.I would wait on corksport they make very nice products and good people to deal with.

AutoExe from Japan already has two types available (though one is a center exit that requires their new bumper). As stated before, CorkSport is releasing their catback sometime soon.

CS makes a great exhaust system. I've had their turbo back on my MS6 for 5 years now. Rock solid and sounds good. It's pretty noisy, however, being >3" diameter. Also have their front mount intercooler, have had their intakes and various other components. Their customer care used to be top notch, but has lost some credit with me more recently.

Which leads me to this - 80MM seems grossly oversized for the NA 2.0l on the CX-5.

The piping is oversized for the 2.0l SkyA-G. Not that it matters much since the flanges and piping prior to the CB is what? Less than 2 1/4" I.D.?

isnt the CS one just an axleback and not a full catback? what benefit would you get from spending that kind of money on an axleback?

why can't you just let the guy want an exhaust for his cx5 and not question it

Totally agreed, my favorite exhaust note on a car I've owned was the near-silence of my old '97 Lexus ES300 after I put in the extra sound-dampening for my system, but that's just me!

De gustibus non est disputandum.
