Aftermarket exhaust for the CX-5?

Good grief, either you've been on the road 24/7 or Mazda exhausts are rubbish. How come you already need to replace your exhaust system?
Hey SirJoJo Corksport should be bringing there cx5 exhaust out sometime in january.There is all kinds of overseas manufacturers who make exhaust for the cx5 nice stuff but very costly.I would wait on corksport they make very nice products and good people to deal with.

But the CX-5 isn't an aggressive type of vehicle. Perhaps you should have bought a BMW or an Audi.
Aggressive or not, most Audi and BMW have very little exhaust sound with stock exhaust.

AutoExe from Japan already has two types available (though one is a center exit that requires their new bumper). As stated before, CorkSport is releasing their catback sometime soon.
Corksport released theirs a few days ago.

CS makes a great exhaust system. I've had their turbo back on my MS6 for 5 years now. Rock solid and sounds good. It's pretty noisy, however, being >3" diameter. Also have their front mount intercooler, have had their intakes and various other components. Their customer care used to be top notch, but has lost some credit with me more recently.
Which leads me to this - 80MM seems grossly oversized for the NA 2.0l on the CX-5.

The piping is oversized for the 2.0l SkyA-G. Not that it matters much since the flanges and piping prior to the CB is what? Less than 2 1/4" I.D.?

Totally agreed, my favorite exhaust note on a car I've owned was the near-silence of my old '97 Lexus ES300 after I put in the extra sound-dampening for my system, but that's just me!

I am also eager to hear a CS system on the CX-5, however.

It didn't pass the wife-test for him, which spoke volumes to me. That said, I still want to hear an audio clip or see a video with the CS exhaust on.
