AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

Can anyone walk me through uploading the super map or have a good one for running a t28, fmic, 3" exhaust, and an aftermarket downpipe? I bought the car with all of the mods except the turbo, now running 10psi. The link at the beginning of this thread no longer works and i dont think im up for tuning it myself quite yet. Im close to driving this damn thing into a wall w how much it bogs down even during normal driving and staykng out od boost.

If you look at the bottom of the first post you'll see a list of attachments. I just successfully downloaded the SuperMap to my PC so you should be able to do it. For installation instructions you could see if one of the resellers like ProtegeGarage have them on file (email them) or you could contact SplitSecond directly, just search them using google.

if youre bogging out of boost than you probably have something wrong, like bad plugs/wires/coils. the car shouldnt bog out of boost. ive been running a gt28rs for about two years with no EMS and the only issue i see (other than pig rich AFRs) is fuel cut @14psi, the car shouldnt bog though.

It doesn't bog out of boost all the time but quite often. Today I had no issues with it, but yesterday was a whole different story. I'll know a lot more once my replacement wideband sensor gets here.

What MAP would you reccomend for one with JDM cams, ported Throttle, 626 intake mani, CAI, corksprt exhaust, spec flywheel, hardpipes, custom msp smic, and a walboro fuel pump?

Is there like a definitive list of SSAFC maps??? besides the ones on the first page, just wondering if there is a library of all types of setups. I can't get my SSAFC going because every time I connect it my ECU throws a check engine light. I'm gonna try to diagnose it again this week because the last time I had it connected was a few months ago and my car has come a long way anyway with a bunch of mods.

But just for the hell of it, if anyone can recommend a good map for me.
-T25 Turbo
-Speaco FMIC
-Relocated MAF
-Greddy Type-S BOV
-2.5" Corksport catback including J-pipe
-Injen CAI
-stock fuel injectors

I'm pushing around 7-8 psi with this setup. I know according to the first post on this thread i could probably bump it up as much as 10psi, but I wanna play it safe, plus I only have a stock S-pipe.

I've tried the supermap and a few others but my car hasn't responded well to any of them. The car will barely idle on its own and is about impossible to drive, it bucks like a bull the whole time. I'm having issues with my wideband so I have no idea where the a/f ratio is at. Anyone have any ideas why my car is responding so poorly to these maps? I've even tried going back to my default map with no luck...

Do you have the software setup correctly with the overpressure and everything setup and set to 4 cylinder, 4 stroke? Are there any mechanical problems with the car?

I believe all of the settings are now correct with the help of another member. It was set on 6 cylinders and a few of the other settings were different when I first started. Here is what everything is currently set to. http://i36.photobucket.com/albums/e18/PGTaddict/SSSettings_zps6b7ea140.jpg

The car was daily driven without any mechanical issues except for the fact that it seemed to bog really bad around 3800 rpm, so I finally decided to try and adjust the tune. I'm starting to wish I hadn't.

Turns out the software wasnt my issue. There wasn't any gap on the plugs out of cylinders 4 and 2. Some how the electrode got bent and closed the gap. I couldn't see any damage on the top of either piston and compression numbers were still fine, so I really don't know what happened. Thank you all for your help.

in the process of installing AFC on my friend, and the thing is constantly dipping into AFR 10's and 9's

can't idle for s***..

OIs the boost sensor tube hooked up correctly? All connections soldered? I had issues because of a single weak connection

all connetcions soldered and heatwrapped.
the AFC reads boost/vac correctly..same as the mechanical gauge

we cna make it idle but the car falls on its face..

i remember having this issue with my MP3...but cna't for the life of me remember what i did to fix it.

What is different PSC1-020 ver.1 from PSC1-020 ver. 2?
Can I update my split second to version 2?
