AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

has anyone gotten the p0090 code for fpr circuit low voltage after installing this? i got that code today, but i took a T out of that fpr solenoid, gapped my plugs (they were way off) and made a o2 sensor simulator thing and it went away for now, but still just curious

That was a good question MSP2k3 i was wondering the same thing i just purchased 440s too, ill probably throw them on by this weekend

Awesome, make sure and unplug your battery and reset the ecu. Also, it may be different for you but both 440cc maps on here were way to lean for me when getting into boost. Had to start with the superstock map and start pulling fuel out up top.

So I installed the driver for my usb/serial cable. I clicked the connect to ecu button and it said error connect with ecu, check connection or power.... Something along those lines... Than I tried afain and it said something like comport error 8183 or something. Any ideas? Im using windows 7 btw

run XP compatibility mode.

^^ ya windows 7 is a pain with that usually,

EDIT: haha, woops, thought this was the "what did you do to your msp today" thread, my bad..

figured it out thanks. running good now, just kinda rich. so, the maps, how much boost are each made for? im running stock 6ish psi right now, but i will soon be running 10-12 psi with water methonal injection

each map on here should have be good up to 16psi, but just because they go up to 16psi doesnt meant the tune at 16psi is a decent one lol

Here's a 440 map. 14-15psi stock turbo. Custom 3" intake catless 2.5" exhaust with corksport s-pipe. 262whp. It's tuned to a steady 12.1-12.3 afr. And an ion fmic. I think that's all my actual go fast mods. That's kind of silly. I'm making 260 whp on a fmic and 2.5" exhaust and a thunder turbo mani. Stock intake I have vics&vvts or whatever they are. Stock radiator stock t-stat stock coils and wires. Stock fpr, denso ik22 plugs and of course my tune on my ssafc. Any other questions just shoot.

cool i will want to use that map after i get some 440s. are they the wrx injectors?
wait, your pushing that on a stock turbo, no meth or anything? seems like it would be just blowing tons of hot air...

you can run up to 20-something PSI on the stock turbo, its just not really effiecient above 14.
those are some nice numbers though...I need to work on tuning my setup, but dam it takes so long

^^ haha, ya, after I think.. 3 years or so, and modding along the way, and not driving in the winter, I FINALLY came up with a tune I was happy with last summer, it's great for warm weather driving, once I get my calipers painted and on again I will tweak it a little for the spring while the weather is still colder, but it's a good tune for the most part, was so happy when I finally got it, soo many hours of tuning and then having to re-tune later because of one thing or another

gonna load up slo03.5msp's map tonight and see how it does... basically the same mods, except i have the turbolife as opposed to the ion.... and I have a built motor. I had no luck with any of the other 440cc maps, the car would lean out when i started to press the throttle.

It's really tough unless you live around here the humidity here is so so high it makes really dense cold air.

Thats good, humidity is bad down here in TN as well. Will post up here how it goes, not expecting it to be perfect, but I was working from the superstock map and trying to create my own and it was getting frustrating. (this is my first experience in tuning.) That being said, I have learned a TON in the past week.

Yea great numbers. Anyone know when stock injectors max out? I really am gonna shoot for similar numbers but if the upgraded injectors arent neccasary I will skip them

edit(to msp2k3)^^, it will take quite a while before you get even close to something that you will be happy with, I'd just take it slow and work on it for a few hours here and there, and then leave it alone for a week or a little while, see how it works in different weather situations.. I also recommend doing a few pulls when logging and then writing down consistent "problem areas" for that set of pull datalogs, that you want to change on the log maps, basically your not changing something based on one map, when really if you did another datalog pull, the WB would read something completely different, saves a lot of headache so your not changing every little detail and hic-up for each datamap, will work out better in the end

Thanks, I need all the pointers I can get.... my first round of changes on the superstock map worked pretty well, got it around 11.8-12 from 4-5k, had a small spurt of 10.0 (pegged the wideband), then leveled out to 11.0 to redline. But the problem i was having is that right when i let off the gas, the wideband would peg 10.0 in between shifts, so the car would stumble when i got on the gas again.... my guess was that i needed to lean out the higher rpm, low boost situation, but not sure.
