AFC-SplitSecond PSC1 Map Library

Hey guys, I got my FTC installed,
I just need a decent map to start off. I tryed loading in the superstockmap but i dont think i did it right becasue on my wideband everything is the same, Leans out at full boost at 3500-4000RPM then pig rich to redline. If anyone car give me a quick run through on how to load in a map and which map i should start with it will be GREATLY apreciated.
Mods.
3inch True Straightback exhaust, 1 high flow cat, CAI, FMIC Hardpipes.
626 im, MPNick turbo upgrade, (T-28wheel) 8PSI. non relocated

Thanks in Advance, im just trying to figure this all out.

Pm me where you stand now and I'll help you through it. I got a FTC 21 psi map, what FTC did you did you get? 16psi or 21psi? Either way i think my map could be of use to you since I have an almost identical set up.

Ok guys 70 pages is way too long to read.

I just want to know if there is a map a little bit leaner than the supermap stock ???
Because Im running way too rich. I got AFR of 9.5-10.5 at low boost and something like 10.5-11.5 at full boost.
I have a bunch of mods and im running at 9 psi.

Yes, the head is the same so you can bolt up the turbo manifold. The cams are a different between the FS and FP. A set of FS or MSP cams may help if you are going turbo.

ok i tried to read the entire thread, made it through 28 pages and got tired, im having a serious issue on my buddies car.

Its a pro5 running a msp setup with front mount and msp ecu. the car was hitting fuel cut so i sold him my afc to fix the problem.

we hooked up a wide band and noticed that as soon as the cars begins to boost at WOT, fuel goes amazingly lean, im talking like 15-16:1!!!! And then after a second goes back to 10:1 (running stock supermap). I was like wtf. Tuning any of the cells on the afc to compensate for this crazy lean spike do nothing.

he is running atp wastegate, it spikes to 9 then down to 6-7at redline. I made all cells from say 1psi boost at 3000rpm and higher 10.2 to add more fuel, still doesnt matter how much fuel we throw at it in the tune the initial run into boost put the a f stupid lean, I cant believe the motor didnt blow to tell you the truth, then after that half second of WOT its perfect and the afc is working as it should (ive had a few afcs before and never had this issue)

I figured it was something to do with his o2 but we recently replaced the o2 and I even tried swapping in my o2 and same issue.

I think it has something to do with when the afc is clamping the o2.

Its been a while so I forget how to correct this, right now its like this:

Like I said any changes I make to the fuel map have ZERO effect on how the car runs lean for a second at WOT. any help would be appreciated. We have the WBo2 mounted about 1 foot from the Jpipe, in the stock 2nd o2 sensor location. I usually tune with them much closer to the turbo and I am not sure if this could be contributing to false readings?

its definately rewritting. I can make changes and after the initial spike the tune is mint. I was sitting shotgun for a hour or 2 and we got a map mint, 11.5-12 from 4K-redline it was great. the next day I was like let me drive this time as I wanted to fine tune a bit more. As soon as I put my foot WOT I saw 15:1 and was like WTF!!! I thought he was only at part throttle the night before and figured he was hitting those high afs while he was transitioning into WOT. The rest of the map can be tuned fine. Its just the initial point of the afc clamping the o2 (i think) that is screwing up. Now I never had to mess with this on any of my setups when i used a afc, but its the only thing I can think of.

Drives great out of boost, at part throttle and andtime after the initial lean spike/

could be a dumb question, i hope not..but, did you solder all the wiring?? maybe it needs a better connection?

or maybe there's something else going on? like there's an issue w/ his injectors/pump/regulator/plugs..idk. just throwing things out there.

wondering if the WB is screwing up cause its too far down the pipe, i read in a tuning book that an blast of overly rich conditioned gases (maybe at the afc clamp point?) can cause the gauge to misread lean for a mil sec, i dunno at this point, the ecu isnt throwing cel, the plugs are good, the gas is 94 sunoco. im running out of ideas here.

I dont have the SSAFC installed yet so I know very little about any of this... but just from a common sense standpoint I wonder if it has more to do with mechanical than electrical issues. I wonder if the stock fuel pump is keeping up at WOT... isn't that why people switch out to the Walbro? Or maybe he's got too small injectors... did the non MSP models get set up with stock injectors as large as the MSP? If everything is setup right electrically and the only time it happens is at WOT, it sounds like fuel lag to me.
