aem or injen hurry please

im gonna order it tommarow. amd or injen intake. they both seem great. aem says there the best and have some great technology. and injen says they have the fastest and great technology. which one would u recomend. i have a 2.3 Manuel

anyone know if CP-E is making an intake for you guy's? the 2.3 6 and 3.0 6 have one out just checking if anyone from beltsville was asked for prototyping one? they have a maf customizer and piping way bigger than both intakes you mentioned and also prevents the fuel trim cels by retuning the fuel map. only thing is that it runs in the $600. 2.3 6 manual dynoed 149whp with it.

Thats is a big "NO" as they can't even get better gains than AEM or Injen with the Maf Customizer crap.
And they don't retune anything...more like trick!

our prototype tester did adjust the map. the 2.3 showed lil gains vs V6 application cause the v6 ran pig rich and anything over like 4k would throw a cel with any intake. you also have a larger diamater pipe. I didn't see a kit or any mentioning of it on their site. Just asking if anyone was intrested to contact them at www.cp-e.com thats all I needed to "trick" the maf cause I got cels like crazy with both aem short ram and cai mod. Cels for intake slightly detuned the timing (not as much as no cat cels). after resetting the codes the car acceled way difrently.

CP-E is just a hack way of tuning. And they were not the first to try something like this. But hey if you think it works, I'm sure it is people like you that keep the tornados in business.

I'm a rookie, but aem was the only one to show a dyno. Per the number it increases 6.5hp & 10.1lb ft tq

Are you stating it won't make those gains? I have yet to dyno but I'd bet they were right on if not more.

id bet my paycheck they arent. especially if they mean whp. unfortunately you just dont make that much power with just an intake.

i dunno, maybe they are being completely honest but most times companies inflate their numbers or tweak the s*** just right doing other minor things to squeeze every hp to advertise.

Well the Ford Focus with the similar 2.3L is making slighly better gains than that with just an intake. And the car AEM used is a member on another site. And there is nothing to tweak as of yet.
