In most cases the ac flickering can be easily fixed. Just follow this thread http://www.mazdas247.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123678992 This one can be used as a spare or for someone whos is completely broke or has a fried board

yes they would be better than stock lx struts. i don't remember having issues with the combo. no rubbin on 205/40/17 wheels/tires
