AEM boost controller and gauge

I just purchased the trueboost as well, along with the wideband
The wideband was a peice of cake to install took me about 30 minutes by myself. Not to mention i have now 1 vacum line, 1 sub power wire(BIG ONE), 1 boost controller line, and now the line for the wideband....it was a pain in the ass getting it through the hole in the firewall

This is the wire i used for a power source, it is connected with the ignition. The picture is bad but it is on the back of the fuse panel You just need a 10mm socket to remove the fuse panel. This wire is Black with a Blue Strip.
I ran the ground on the bolt that holds the fuse panel on. The only wires you will need are the Red And Black on the harness. Tape off the other two.

Running the Harness for the Wideband Sensor was probably the hardest part, I used the Gromet right behind the cruise control line here most of us tap our boost guages into. It is a tight squeeze, I used a long philips head screwdriver to get it into there. But if you have small hands it should be no problem.
I then ran the wire along the splashguard and the o2 sensor will plug into the bung on the J Pipe.Just remove the nut that is screwed into the bung. It is 17mm. If its to tough to get out(i could barely get it) Use some pb blaster. Let it sit for a few minutes then take another whack at it.

Then all that is left is to run the wire in your dash, to the guage pod of your choice. Plug it in Turn the ignition the the "on" posistion to check if it works, then put everything back together.

nice!! now you have three different gauges haha. you shoulda run your o2 sensor thru on the passenger side. theres a nice hole in the firewall there too. the one on my driver side is def clogged up too.

lol ive gone through like 20 guages, The defi will be gone, when the aem goes in. And im switching to a two guage pod

Protege Garage is def the best place to purchase this item. Ken was right on top of everything.
