clean carfax EXCEPT: extensive damage reported....
doesnt say who, what, when (04-20-11), where, or since when it was fixed.

car looks clean
drives amazingly well
feels good

the extensive damage freaks me out.

asking price is $12500.00

WHAT DO?
do i buy?

You should probably take it to your mechanic if you haven't got an extensive knowlege on evaluating it yourself. I found when i was looking if the deal sounds too good to be true it probably is, but since you never know if it seems legit they wont have a problem with letting you have a third party mechanic inspect it for you.

That seems about market value too me although im not really sure. I just bought one havent even got it yet for about the same

If you like the car and your mechanic doesnt see anything that appears too problematic then go for it! What do you drive now?? And make sure you tell him about the potential damage so he can really inspect it. Any crash over a couple grand make me worry..

right now im driving around a beat up 89 buick skylark as loaner.... long story short, its been a loaner for a year now because i cant seem to find the right car.
it a loaner because i sold my old miata when i left the country for a while.
its pretty sad.

new year, new car, right?
