Adding to site statistics .. ??

Another forum I am familiar with has the following on their home page (see image below). I think these numbers are just post counts, but I guess they could tie into reputation recieved as well. There is no purpose for it.... just fun. Your opinions please.

Ahh I forgot about postwhores. I think they even give out stuff on that forum, but every time I am on it... it doesn't seem to have any postwhores posting one-words and other stupid stuff. I think they use it to promote helping others with their coding questions (C#).
