Ive got an ash tray in my MS3 and I dont smoke. I was think about trying to add some switches to my car and thought about replacing the ashtray with a switch cluster. Has anyone done this? and if so did you find a cluster that fit nice in where the ash tray goes??

Also over on the right hand side next to my DSC button is a empty spot for another button, has anyone put a switch there?

Thanks

Ive got a lighting kit for inside the car and some gauges that I want to run an on/off switch for.

Well I mounted some switches and a few other things in my ashtray, but it was far from an off the shelf cluster. It was full custom and was a PIA to get the look I wanted.

If you're looking to add just one switch, I'd install it in the blank switch in the cluster left of the steering wheel. It pops out once you open up the lower dash.

as opulenca says, one switch, check around there is a jdm site that will sell u a switch that drops in next to the dsc

There are two switches from the protege which will click into those spots. Both are regular rockers and have flat faces. One has a green light, the other an orange light. I can't remember what the exact part numbers are but I do remember the orange lit one was ridiculously more expensive than the green one.

Because I'm me and I'm crazy I used an OEM DSC momentary switch coupled with a flip flop relay.

Hello guys! Anyone here tried using this auxiliary switch? Is it easy to install? or can you suggest other switches.
