adding cruise control

no, i think what he is saying, correct me if i am wrong, is that you should use the steering wheel control part of the system so that it will look factory with an aftermarket unit that is electric operated, not vacuum operated. hope this helps. later
can't have vacuum because of the boost...

PJTSpeed: Does the cruise light come on in the cluster when the cruise is activated?

Anyone else know? Or is the bulb socket empty? I didn't look the last time I had it apart.

actually, the only thing i could use would be the control on the steering wheel, everything else is different, i think. i know the actuator is, its electric.

i might be able to use the cable setup as well off of the Throttle body..

I wish I had cc and a sun roof. Little Beavis has both, and both are aftermarket. Maybe he could chime in here?

I too would LOVE to add CC to my MSP!! I would only use the OEM steering wheel mounted switch, if there was a way to make it work with an electric aftermarket unit. Anyone try this yet?

...turns out you can probably use a vacuum operated unit if it has a check valve...

JCW.com for under $150.

I'm putting it on as soon as I can, but probably not before February (moving to Pittsburgh takes priority...)

Let us know if you do!!!
