AC Blower problem. Please Help.

HI.
The blower in my 2010 Mazda CX7 stopped working in position 1,2 and 3 but AC light is on and it seems like compressor is kicking in. When I turn the fan switch in position 4 the blower is working, but AC turning itself off and there is no way to turn it back on. Unless you of course change the fan switch back to 1,2 or 3, but then you don't have a working blower. Do you have any ideas? Where should I start? Any help would be really appreciated. It is really hot out there

Sounds like the Blower Motor Resistor. Not sure where it's located how to replace it, but i just had to do it on my sisters 02 Ford Focus.

A quick google search indicates that it's located behind the glovebox.
