ABS and E-Brake light on + RPM studdering

Hey everyone.

Recently, my abs and e-brake lights have come on. My car still brakes and comes to a stop normally, although I hear a whistling sound starting to occur from the back. I'm thinking its the wheel bearings starting to go out but some posts I've read in the past say its bad sensors. I was wondering if any of you out there are experiencing this sort of problem and have fixed this issue.

Also, my rpm would sometimes drop so low and seem as if its going to stall....especially when I'm going highway speeds...(say 50-60mph) and shift into neutral gear to slow down. Could this be bad EGR? Misfiring? Bad coils?

Your help would greatly be appreciated. I'm just frustrated and I just spent too much money into this car already; I fix one thing and another thing OR things already needs to be fixed.

I know the feeling.

When my ABS and Brake dash lights were on, I had two bad wheel speed sensors, which affect the ABS. There's a way to check it by jumping pins in the diagnostics box under the hood which will in turn make the dash lights flash out codes, but I don't remember which pins. I did find it on the forms somewhere. If you do a google search through the form, you'll find it I'm sure. I had to replace the rear sensors. Kind of a pain, but it didn't take too long.

Your stalling problem sounds like a dirty EGR. My car would actually stall if I popped it in neutral before the RPMs were down, so engine braking was the only way to keep it running. Replaced the EGR with the colder weather version and it's been smooth sailing since.

Thanks, MattsMSP.

I will try to do these asap. My MSP has been treating me rough lately and it's been frustrating since I'm tight on budget and looking to get a bigger car. I just don't wanna brush it off and then have some bigger issues later. Again, thanks!
