A/T vs 5-Speed FWHP?

Hi Folks,

Brand new here, picking up a 05 Mazda3 2.3L in about 15 minutes.
I am sure this has been asked before:
What are the FWHP specs for both an A/T and a 5-Speed?
I am just wondering how much HP and Torque I am loosing with my slushbox?
Just looking for a reason to b**** at the wife, for refusing to learn how to drive a stick!

I guess the general ~10-15HP rule must apply for most A/Ts. Back a few years I owned a '99 Maxima SE, and I think that difference is what most people on the NISMO board experienced.

After only two drives I am truly impressed how quick the car is even with the A/T. I guess it figures, as the engine has nearly as much power as my '78 280Z Inline-6 had!

And for anyone reading who is thinking about buying a 3: The handling is AMAZING. Very much like the BMW 318 hatchbacks I test drove before.
