i my self went the cheap way, the rebuild k04. it was a nightmare do to it a bolt i broke off in the engine block the oil return line it cost me 80hrs and 100 dollars. replace this bolt while you doing your work and you can get it done in 4-5 hrs. thank god for good friends it would have cost me much much more. but here is the news you all wish to hear. i have a buddy hear almost the same car only diffrent companys. intake, inlet, fmic, pg manifold, cat-b, fuel upgrade, no tune. the real diffrence is the turbo i, myself have the rebult k04 and him haveing a gt 3076 running at 21psi and me at stock. after many hours working to get that bolt out the job was done. time to line them up. we did a 20,30,35 roll. we wanted all motor. no human errier. me heavy by 1person we lined up time and time agin. what it breaks down to is i won by 1 1/2car links over and over agin. the (r)k04 spools fast damn fast. even at 2,000rpm in 6th at 50mph you will spool full psi bye 2300. the rebuilt k04 spools faster and holds psi till 6100 rpms. ok im open for question lets hear it.

glad to hear your results. can't wait for all the anti-streetracing comments to flow in :D

my favorit is the "ricer" comments althou they fail to relise they own a turbo 4cyl that was build in japan and there moding it. it dont get more ricer then at.

but ok back to the subjet now the gt???? are great turbos they spool just fine. the problem is tunning the turbo to not over boost. its a mad sience project. i dont like to speek on behalf of others cars. i know for a fact, that once the we get a tunned and get the over boost fix. he should be walking me. but if your looking for turbo that wont blow smoke, spools faster, gives a little more to your rpm range, and you can up the boost a little/ safly. go k04 you want big power for the long and dont mind a slittly later spool got gt????

rofl.

You may wanna find the time, do you have a new block too? Most(if not all) people who blow their engines put a hole in the block.
