the other day i notcie my back tire was a lil low (9psi) so today while rotating i saw a nail in the middle of my tire. These tires only have about 5000 miles on them. Im gonna go try and get it plugged now. I have heard b4 that you cant plug z rated tire. but im just gonna get it done to hold me over. I also have heard of getting it patched from the inside. I was hopping these tires last me through the summer, i dont wont to replace them yet. Anyone else have this problem, what did you do??

no problem. But you should patch it from the inside. Plugs may become unplugged over time.

I've had 3 tires now patched. 2 on the mp3, and 1 on the speed. So far so good.

for safety sake, put the patched tire on the back wheels, and make sure whoever takes your tire off the rim has the equipment to do it without scratching the crap out of it.

i ended up geting it patched from the inside.

Damn newf you got a flat in the speed already.

109kms on speed....damn nail. Come to find out a truck carrying nails lost a box of them on the highway the day before I got my speed. Of course, the city never bothered to go clean it up. Wish I knew this before....

So, I pick up my new speed, take it for a test drive, and of course I head for the highway. Come home, start cleaning car, and well lookie here....a nice damn nail. Went to get car fixed, and the guys tell me there was at least a dozen cars in for the same reason, and same spot, the day before.

To say I was pissed......understatement. 3 weeks before this, I got a flat in the MP3 as well. This s*** is getting old.

anyways, all is well. At least so far.
