ok

1. What mileage does your car say you have remaining when you fill it up??
I got 453km one day then 550 the next????

2. When you push the auto climate control does your a/c light come on? Also is it supposed to change the temperature or only control the fan speed?? Cause mine turns on the a/c and doesnt change the temp.

3. Is your fuel mileage getting better, at 1500km it seems about right but should i expect anything better with age?

4. Any word on whats happeneing with the p2006 (or whatever it is) CEL code coming on?

Thanks

1. Do not understand thae question you mean on that one

2. Yes theAC light does come on but it will not actually run unless its hot out and you have it like 60 deg. then it will turn on and off automaticly.

3. I think but maybe its because i am not driving all crazy

4. There fixing it under warrenty.

well maybe US cars dont have it but in the canada model in the dash it gives us the current and average fuel mileage, as well as how many km's to empty.

Just wondering what yours says?

Mine's pretty consistent (06 Mz3). Says around 600 kms and it overestimates. My last tank gave me around 510 kms.

It is supposed to get better as you put on the mileage. Your average numbers will also stabilize.

Out of curiosity, what does your average fuel consumption read? Mine reads 9.8L/100km, went up over the winter.

hmm thats tough because i either do trips to and from work which is less then 6km combined in -20. Or i go to and from home on weekends which is 250km each way.

So the highway if i keep it at 110 its about 7.8 at that time on flat roads or so but once the trip is over with a little traffic and some hills it can go to 8.5.
But the pumps say different whatever the average nnumber is the pumps say i needed more fuel. Its usually at least 10$ pre 100km at around 95-98cents

A side note i had a good go with an STI and a CLK430 the other day. From a roll on at 110 ish the sti had a good 3 lengths by 230 and the clk was very close.

Damn, that's fast! =D

7.8-8.5 is really good. On par with mine and I only have regular Mazda3. I would have expected to see 10ish+ in traffic for a MS3.
You must be talking current consumption though - what is the average consumption on your computer?

I'm asking b/c I'm curious as to what MS3 mileage is compared to reg3.

what are you flappin head freaks talkin aboot?

I am guessing you guys are calculating kms per liter?

We are talking about L/100Kms. We're backwards in Canada, they calculation the number of L/100 kms. Est fuel econ for the Mazda3 2.3L manual is 9.2L/100Kms city and 6.7L/100kms hw.

That's why I'm impressed in his numbers for the MS3. Estimated fuel consumption is 11.8/7.6 cty/hw for the Speed.

Oh i see, I never bothered to click your sig. Nice link. Did you manually enter that data?

That 21.48MPG was unfortunate. Hurt your average. =)

I enter it with each fill up. This tank is will be a goody though. My CEL and boost cut is making me behave.

Hmm, I wish I had done the data entry thing. =) I kept every receipt for for gas fill ups but didn't record the distance.
I suppose I can start now.
