My protege's A/C doesnt seem to be quite as cold as it used to. I put the gauges on it and it was running about 175-180 psi on the high side (within "acceptable" range, but barely) and the low side was pushing 60psi (about double what it should be).
Based on my limited knowledge, I'm guessing the A/C compressor is starting to get weak (not enough suction on low side, not enough pressure on high side). But are there other things I should look at? I dont know why the high side would be within normal while the low side is double what it should be.
Any A/C experts out there that could give some help would be greatly appreciated.
