75/80 Dragway Opening Weekend - April 3-5

I might be brewing it up on Wednesday... undecided as of yet, but if the weather's agreeable, I might agree with it.

LOL I found out my mechanic is going to be at the track Saturday and away Sunday, so I have to wait til next week to go look at the car with him. I might go up Saturday and I should be there Sunday.

If I get it the question is going to be: which car to take to Carlisle?

Im going to hold off on running since my motor mounts won't be in till after April 6th. Bahhh. i will be takeing pics though.

Because as much as I know about proteges, I don't have 10+ years experience working in auto shops like he does.

Okay guys, the track was running today and looks beautiful. I've made a google map to let you all know where we're meeting and where the track is.

Please know that we are meeting at NOON near the BP GAS STATION up the street from the track. There you can check tire pressures (if you are running) and we can all roll into the track together. That way we can piss off the Rednecks with our "rice" collectively!

Um there was people at the track when I rolled by on the way home on Friday, but they were all leaving because of the rain. I live about 3 miles from the track so I'll be there all the time. Let me know when you go and I'll meet you there. After seeing all the cars the track ate on Sunday, though, I'm unsure if I'll run the MSP... lol

Can't be worse than it was... That dip at the 1/8th was killer. I watched many cars eat the guardrail there. I almost did too!

I cruised by and saw all the trailers leaving. I rolled up to Jimmie Cone in Mt. Airy and got some ice cream with the kids...

I'm in Westminster now, but used to live right off penn shop... My protege did it's only passes at 75-80 back in 03. 16 something. I used to race this all the time....high 14's....
