and i must say its pretty freakin awesome! but the only issue im having is it doesnt like to come down to idle when i stop or put it in neutral, it just sits at like 1500-2000 rpms. anyone else have this problem?

Is the car warmed up while it's still idling that high? Remember, our cars always idle higher until the engine's prepped.

But your ECU also has to 'relearn' and make some adjustments based on the new air flow and whatnot. Give it some time to figure itself out again.

I really feel that the 626 mani is over rated. It completely kills all low end power, only to give you marginally better top end. Because the stock ECU floods the motor up until about 5500 (where the jump in timing kicks in), it only helps slightly. I dont feel its worth the trade off, unless you are running higher than stock boost.

I've looked at the dyno on protegegarage and i didn't see a drop in power vs the stock manifold. Of course i'm only talking about the FI use.

even though the low end power is dropped, the top seems well worth it i seem. protegegarage's stock boost dyno even showed a 20+ hp increase which is better than many mods out there. and at higher than stock boost it becomes a very valuable tool. to me it honestly felt like adding vtec to a car that seems or seemed to lose it's funk in higher rpms before.

lol. yeah i felt it was wayyyy worth it considering i got it for 100$!!! plus it came with another tb fuel rail and injectors and harness!!! but i cant use the rail or injectors cause they dont flow enough. but the throttle body is the same! does anyone know of a place that will bore tb's? and yea i think it was the ecu re learning cause its gradually getting better.

yeah its running better, just give it a couple days for the ecu to figure out what is going on and it should be ok.
