626 head questions

Is it possible to use the head from a 90s ish 626 with a 2.0? I remember them using a distributor but I can't remember if they did or not. If they do use a distributor is it possible to still use it?

Also will the passenger side motor mount from the 626 work on the protege?

Also as far as I know to swap them ill need a head gasket and head bolts. Is there anything else ill need?

It will work but you will need to plug the distributor hole with a freeze plug. The intake ports are a bit smaller so you may lose some power.
