6 second CX-5

CX-5 Diesel
I don't think I should make it go any faster without adding some decent hardware...

Flashed in a new map to improve on torque delivery and fitted a pod filter, that's it, and the performance is pretty damn good.

There are companies such as Diesel Tune, Chip Tune that adds a piggy back module and Japanese Bliz has also entered the game with adjustable boost controller. I don't think any of them are this fast by looking at their performance figures.

Kudos to Sassimac for introducing me MazdaEdit, the software needed to edit the ECU, and giving me free advise on what to do with the software.

Yup, I'd love a awd diesel here. Went ahead and got a 2.5 b/c it's taking too long. Mybae it will arrive with the next body update, and if I haven't moved onto to better things, I'll get one.

That's, an interesting question.

Yes, stock 19" wheel and tyre. I haven't thought to decrease diameter to improve the acceleration, but then the speedo wouldn't be accurate anymore.

The first launch is a better one, but during that run I shifted too early from 2nd into 3rd.. and I'm not sure why I changed into 4th ... )
On 2nd run, despit not launching as hard, I clocked 6 seconds so I guess I could improve the acceleration time with better (higher RPM) launches.

Good work...!!

Your file looks great. I'm going to build one for myself and see how it runs compared to the 12b.

The more we learn and test, the better the result.

Again, awesome...!!!!

Very nice! I thought the USA was the only country that was left hand drive.

I think the USA is considered right hand drive according to wikipedia..
The vast majority of countries drive on the same side of the road as the USA:

American cars are definitely Left hand drive. The side of the car is based on your seating position forward.

Here's a map thats a bit more understandable as its labeled.
