505 Intake Manifold COMPLETED!

Just curious, I don't want to have to run through this entire thread, how much are these running for? I'd be interested because I am running a P2006 CEL since I've had this car. It's not making it run bad or anything just won't pass emissions which, in a long story short, I may have to do afterall. This would eliminate that concern.

I'll just say there are cheaper and more timely options out there to fix your problem. Not to mention the fact the first group is already full.

700 with out egr and no no dynos are done yet s*** the 1st 2 arent even finished yet. The flanges just got finished last week.

Like what?
If the CEL is due to your intake manifold then you could easily swap out your manifold for another stock IM or a 626 on for a lot cheaper and you could easily find one of those now rather then spend $700 and wait about another month. That's all I meant :)

I've been told the 626 intake mani's are somewhat of a needle in a haystack. What year of 626 was it that it comes from? (Sorry to thread jack, I'll be gone soon)

Dynos are rather important. Not to rain on anyone's parade but more airflow does NOT mean more horsepower. Your odds are a little better in a turbo situation, but definitely not the case with NA. All sorts of goodies like velocity charging, fuel vaporization, resonance, runner balance etc all come in to effect. People signed up could be buying a 700 dollar preformance DE-enhancer without any decent dyno proof to back things up.

i wouldnt talk about another product in this thread, im not trying to be a dick but if you want to know more about the 626 intake manifold please use the serach button.

you may be right but the better a motor flows the more hores power that gets free'ed up. also if you are maxing out your manifold like the msp in spain i bet you would see huge gains....

there will be dynos soon like i said the production manifold should be getting made as we speak. Once those 1st one if done its getting sent off to be dynod

My apologies but damn I was just asking what year it was. Excuse me.

Some people need to take a chillaxitive.

lol its really hard to get emotion across on the internet. i wasnt like going off, im just saying if you were working hard to introduce a new product to the msp community i wouldnt go in your thread asking questions about the competetion, and when there is 10,000 threads about it already. im sorry if i seemed like i was getting upset, cause i wasnt.

I apologize in advance if I come across as an asshole, but your post is rather insulting Steve.

And a dyno won't magically make any of this happen. All of this was addressed in the design process. You think I just slapped together some pipes and a box and called it good? (silly)

Nobody wants to see the dyno tests more than I do. Relax. If it made big accelerometer gains on my car (using the stock fuel maps, severely retarded timing, and a hair under 6psi of boost), it will make power on just about any setup out there.

The part will still be dyno proven, I just don't know the exact details of when it is happening so I haven't said anything about it yet. Nobody will buy a "700 dollar preformance DE-enhancer" from me, and to assume that I would do such a thing is, as I said before, rather insulting.

Ok point made. Anyhow, this seems like a great product, but I suppose for 700, it's not for me. Sounds good for those who want it for performance.
