Wow never expected a box plenum. How's that in comparison to something round like the stocker?

Well then Velocifero...You'll love what I am working on for my Engine....Tons of Gloss and Flat black powdercoting...so much you might not see it for it's stealthiness.

Wow!~everything is coming together
Don't worry, I'll be ready Rich. Brach is sending out the turbo/mani/and downpipe tomorrow. The mani and downpipe will be jethot coated and then everything will be installed.
First, I will of course dyno the car with stock msp intake manifold and post the results in this thread.

This first proto will have no EGR. Still working to find the best solution for that.
It's awesome that you're at least trying. Even better if it could somehow be in the stock position. I could really care less about the emissions standpoint but from what I understand there is no way to avoid a CEL if you remove the EGR. I know a lot of people cut the tube and put breather filters on it but that allows unmetered air into the manifold. Does the EGR have to see 'flow' to not throw a CEL?

I am also putting the TB flange bore at 65mm, for people who port their TB.[/QUOTE]

So this will go great with this piece
AUTO EXE Big Bore Throttle Body

Replaces the factory throttle body of 55mm to a 60mm unit. A great way for gaining power by adding more air. Also great on turbo models (Mazdaspeed Protege) or aftermarket turbo kits where flow is very important.

Awesome!

I was hoping to make an extension pipe for the stock one, still not sure if it's going to work out or not. We'll see.

what is the target price for this? it looks amazing.

Still don't have a final welding quote, but the target range is 600-700.

I'm gonna have my family mail mine to Iraq so I have something to look at until we go home around Christmas time

Im going to have to wait for one with an egr solution, so i guess i'll be spending my tax money on my wheels and a turbo mani, i still want one of these when they are complete.

BTW: Thats the only thing i like about oklahoma, no emissions or inspections.

<- proudly running catless for 3 years and counting.
